The tea ceremony is called cha-no-yu in Japanese, meaning ‘warm water for tea’. The magic of cha-no-yu is within its simplicity and naturalness. At first glance, the ritual only consists of preparing the tea and serving the tea. In reality, the simplicity holds a deeper idea that opens to the practitioner during the process of learning and practicing. The participants will have the chance to draw away from the daily routine for a short while and prepare matcha tea. Be a part of the ritual of preparing tea and enjoy the unique taste of matcha.
