Corset pattern

Participant limit: 10

This workshop is intended for those who want to learn how to create the corset patterns. You will require basic knowledge in designing and sewing, and I hope you haven’t forgot the simple arithmetic operations. There are a lot of female characters in corset dresses and if you want to make your costume perfect, the perfect corset is a must! Personally I was faced with the problem to find comprehensive information about corset making on the web when I started doing corset dresses. My workshop is an attempt to combine all the information I found and tried on my own. There will be some hints, intricacies, and a Q&A session of course.

Introduction to Flow Arts

Introduction to Flow Arts. The term “flow arts” encompasses the emerging movement-based art forms that integrate dance and creative exploration of movement with skill-based prop manipulation. The Flow Arts draw from a multitude of ancient and modern movement disciplines from Maori poi spinning to modern firedancing, from martial arts and taichi to circus arts and hula hooping. Come and join the Zerkala Fire Theater workshop! We will focus on two different basic props: poi and single staff. Open to anyone. The workshop is flexible to accommodate all levels. If you have never heard the word “poi” or you fancy yourself as a professional staff spinner, come! We’ll have fun for everyone! A good video about “poi”.

The workshop will be in English, but help can be provided also in Estonian and Russian.
