This year the AniMatsuri cosplay competition will be judged by a panel of professional international judges. Let’s meet them!
Amenoo
Amenoo is a Swedish cosplayer who has been in the competitive scene for over 8 years. She has represented her country in several international competitions, now latest in the NCC where she placed third with her Glinda cosplay. She is mostly known for her very neat needlework and comedic performances, and she is excited to share her expertise with all of you. Her presentation on Saturday will be about ‘Tips and tricks for clean sewing’.

AnsoCosplay
Anso is a Danish cosplayer who has her specialty in the ‘play’ part of cosplay. Anso has worked as an actor/character performer for over 5 years, and through her 7 years of cosplaying has embarrassed herself on Tiktok and Instagram for an audience of over 60,000 followers. Anso has won multiple performance competitions back in Denmark, but is now mostly known for hosting and planning different competitions. Anso can’t wait to see all the exciting cosplays and performances! Her presentation on Saturday will be focused on ‘How to Social Media – for cosplayers!’.

CaptainGhostly
Meet CaptainGhostly, an international cosplayer and prop maker based in Belgium. He is an enthusiastic explorer of novel materials, techniques and approaches to elevate his creations. Following on that, he introduced several new materials in the cosplay world together with Cosplayshop.be where he is a manager. CaptainGhostly loves hosting workshops filled with practical tips and tricks to help others learn and grow in their own crafting journeys. This time he will be hosting a workshop/panel on ‘Cosplay Armor & Props: The Art of Crafting’.
CaptainGhostly has had the privilege of guesting over 60 times all around the world and judged international cosplay finals. His work has even been featured in the ‘Cool Japan’ exhibition at one of Belgium’s largest museums.
His ultimate goal is to use his presence to inspire others, share knowledge and be a positive influence in the community.
